Hello My name is Vera and I am the founder of English Coaching School.
English Coaching School was created with the goal of teaching English in a practical, accessible, and transformative way, through online courses and coaching sessions, focused on personal and professional development.
We believe that learning English goes beyond grammar. It’s about confidence, growth, and new opportunities.

Grata Class is the official platform of English Coaching School, where later you can find all our courses, complete information about the programs, and resources designed to make your learning journey easier.
On the Grata Class website, everything you need is in one place to help you improve your English and achieve your personal and professional goals.
The platform offers courses and certificates aligned with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), which indicate the level of English achieved by the student upon course completion.
In addition, we provide full support for those who wish to obtain an internationally recognized certification, such as Cambridge English, IELTS, or TOEFL. These exams are administered separately and must be taken at certified institutions.

Introduction to the General English Course – Teacher Vera Grata
The General English Course has a total duration of 45 hours, structured into six fundamental modules: Grammar, Verb Tenses, Socialization, Questionnaires, Formalities, and Tests. The program has been carefully designed to provide students with a progressive, practical learning experience, aligned with international English language standards.
This course is intended for Portuguese speakers who wish to learn English from scratch or improve their general English level, with a special focus on communication skills and speaking confidence. The classes will be taught by Teacher Vera Grata, founder of the English Coaching School, a professional with experience in teaching English focused on real and practical results.
The main objective of the course is to help students overcome the fear of speaking English, develop discipline in language study, and follow a study plan suited to their needs and language level. The program was created with a strong emphasis on motivation, continuous practice, and gradual progress, promoting autonomy and confidence.
Enrolled students will have free access to the Grammar module. To attend the remaining modules, a quarterly fee of €150 or 15,000 Cape Verdean escudos will be applied. If a student wishes to take private lessons or reinforcement classes, individual sessions may be scheduled at a cost of €20 or 2,000 Cape Verdean escudos per lesson/per hour.
Before joining a group, students may take a placement test, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), allowing them to choose the most suitable class for their level. At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion and level, based on the average score obtained in exams and tests.
The course includes four groups, organized as follows (Cape Verde time):
6:00 PM – A1 Level (Beginner)
7:00 PM – A2 Level (Elementary)
8:00 PM – B1 Level (Intermediate)
9:00 PM – B2 Level (Upper-Intermediate)
Those who are unable to attend at that time have the option to watch recorded lessons, participate in the conversation chats, and, once a week, schedule a conversation test at a time that suits them
Every 3 months, subscribers may update their registration if they wish to continue receiving support in their English-improvement journey.
The start dates for each term are listed below.
First Quarter: Classes begin in the first week of January.
Second Quarter: Classes begin in the first week of May
Third Quarter: Classes begin in the first week of September
The majority of the course participants are from Cape Verde, which is why the schedule and methodology were designed to meet the needs of this audience. The program was created with the purpose of promoting discipline, consistency, and motivation in the study of English, making the learning process more accessible, effective, and sustainable.
